20 Different types of RFEs

There can be different types of RFEs depending on the specific type of visa or immigration benefit being sought.

Here are some different types of RFEs (Request for Evidence) that can be issued by the USCIS:

  1. H1B RFEs: Request for Evidence related to H1B visa petitions, as described in my previous response.
  2. I-140 RFEs: Request for Evidence related to employment-based immigration petitions, such as the Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker.
  3. I-485 RFEs: Request for Evidence related to the Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, which is used to apply for a Green Card.
  4. I-130 RFEs: Request for Evidence related to the Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, which is used to sponsor a family member for immigration to the U.S.
  5. EB-5 RFEs: Request for Evidence related to EB-5 immigrant investor visa petitions, which require a significant investment in a U.S. business and the creation of jobs for U.S. workers.
